Please interpret this email as a reminder that we are allowed to take up space in this world. We won't apologize for things that are simply part of being alive in this world. What a gift and privilege that is - let's revel in it!
For the record, I've done my share of apologizing when I was thoughtless or rude. Sigh. And I will probably do plenty more because, let's face it, we're all fallible humans and we make mistakes and those are appropriate times to make amends.
BUT having opinions, putting up solid boundaries, or being really freaking awesome are not mistakes, friend - they are what make us super, magical, glittery, and wonderful. Let's be proud of those things, not apologetic.
